The gift of music

Sylvia came to Lincoln Christian Fellowship (LCF) on a Sunday morning in September last year. Many of us in the fellowship knew little or nothing of the tremendous work that is going on to improve the lives of the children in The Gambia. Sylvia was an inspiration to us all as she spoke of this work.
Simon Ratcliff and myself John Stephens had been doing a project of producing a CD of the music of the Christian song writer, Stuart Townend. We have both played the keyboard, leading worship in various churches for a number of years before they met. It soon became apparent that our musical styles went well together. We both felt that as the folk at LCF were asking for copies, we would make it a church project, and donate all monies from the CD to the Gambia work. The response has been encouraging with £325 been given so far.
LCF has really taken NLCC to heart, with part of our commitment as a fellowship to support Rodney.
On behalf of LCF, Pastor Mike Farley, and the leaders may God continue to bless all your efforts as you help make a difference in the lives of the children and their families. John and Simon
A huge ‘thank you’, John and Simon for putting your talents to such good use! We really appreciate all your hard work. The CD is fantastic! Proceeds now up to £450
