Over the last few months, a number of keen volunteers have been preparing and training for The Three Welsh Peaks Challenge. This will involve climbing three mountains across Wales across 48 hours, in order to raise money for New Life Children’s Centre.
Each person has been training around their local area, as well as a few groups training walks across the Peak District. Next weekend (25-26 June), our walkers will start their challenge with Snowdon.
Between them, they have already raised a fantastic amount of money, support and awareness for the new school building and the continued work of the New Life charity. The funds raised for this particular challenge will go towards furnishing the new school building with quality classroom furniture and resources.
