Jake is amongst the youngest visitors to the schools in The Gambia.
It was even his first time on an aeroplane. He joined a big group of 31 people, including his mother Zoe. Jake was a great addition to the group as he brought such fun and enthusiasm to us all. When asked about his experience of The Gambia, he said this.
“This was my first time going away anywhere away from the UK so it was quite a shock to see children in smaller classrooms than I have at home and to see how much they wanted to learn. Also, seeing how the children had fun and would fight over small things like pencil crayons and balloons was a surprise. But, they all seemed to be very happy there and they seemed to really like us being there.”
