This was my 2nd visit to The Gambia and it was great to come back and see how things have been developing. The school at Half Dye has now got yet another level to be able to accommodate more children and Kanifing has now got some new furniture. It was so touching to see all the children in both schools and to see how much we take the simplest things for granted. It was great to watch the teachers at work, especially knowing that some of them started out as New Life students themselves. Also, it was great to meet our sponsor children for the first time. We are looking forward to watching them grow and supporting them on their journey. I am looking forward to coming back again in a couple of years!
