October 2023 Reflections
I have loved every minute and I cannot wait to be back next year! If you are considering going, then my advice is GO- you will not regret it. It was an honour and privilege to be part of it and see the beautiful children and to end up sponsoring two! Lucy Fletcher

The Gambia is known as the Smiling Coast of Africa and it is very well named! Smiling faces everywhere we went with boys and girls joining in all the activities, even simple things like colouring in a picture excited them. Bev Beardsall
A wonderful week in the Gambia and lovely to see so many children in the schools. I was able to see my sponsored child Esther and spend time with her. It is an emotional challenge to visit their homes and see for yourself the poverty. Margaret Cluroe

It doesn`t matter how many of us go with people we don`t know as each time we come back as one big family. Thoroughly enjoyed doing crafts with the children. It was so rewarding for each of us. The whole week was full of love, laughter and friendship. Here`s to the next trip which will be my third. Jeanette Batterham
This was my second visit to the schools and it is always an emotional but inspiring opportunity to help make a difference to those who have so little. The children were so happy and grateful for all their gifts and craft activities we did with them which was really humbling to see. I am already planning to visit again! Alison Lane
