The smiles on the faces of the 3 year olds as we fitted them with the jumpers we took out, is something I shall not forget and of course Bernard presenting me with the most wonderful ‘lion’ walking stick! It was a great surprise-I had taken an ‘old lady’ folding one out with me and came back with a beautiful carved creation-cool!
This visit, my third, has given me so much more to talk about when I do presentations. People are interested to know what we are doing out in The Gambia and are often eager to help.
